The Aquascape UltraKlear® UV Clarifier provides pond owners with a convenient and highly effective means to combat algae blooms, or “green water”, to achieve optimum water conditions and crystal-clear pond water. The UltraKlear® uses a technologically-advanced T5 high output UVC bulb, making it more efficient than traditional UV clarifiers. The UltraKlear® UV features a swirl sleeve that helps direct the water around the UV bulb, creating more contact time and increasing UV efficiency up to 50% over traditional UV clarifiers.

The UltraKlear® UV Clarifier eliminates single-celled algae commonly referred to as green water. For most ponds the process should take approximately 1 week, however significant algae blooms may take 2-3 weeks to clear. Bulb life – For effective clarification the UV bulb should be replaced after 12 months of continuous use.
