OASE BioTec Screenmatic² flow through filters with biological and mechanical filtration, clean and clear pond water which flows back down to the pond by gravity. The OASE BioTec Screenmatic² automatically separates debris using the self-cleaning screen, then depositing coarse debris into the removable tray. The adjustable intelligent cleaning sensor is mounted above the screen and detects buildup of debris and then automatically empties the screen into the debris tray. It has a high efficiency filter system that features 3 different densities of foam harboring a variety of beneficial bacteria that removes harmful ammonia and nitrites.

The double-sealed screen motor and reinforced screen material ensures an extended service life. The foam distribution and optimized water level in the container, ensures a longer filter service life, improved filtration and reduced maintenance. The Filter Foams clean directly inside the filter in the pond water to preserve beneficial bacteria colonies and reduce water waste. Slide the valve on the sludge drain to remove sludge and dirty water with minimal mess. You can add an optional Bitron C UVC clarifier to any Screenmatic² filter system for enhanced clarity and cleaner water. It qualifies for the OASE Clear Water Guarantee when paired with the proper pump and UVC Clarifier.

The BioTech ScreenMatic² 18000 has a 3” adapter outlet, a max flow of 2,900 GPH and dimensions of 31”L x 23”W x 21.5”H. It has hose sizes of 1”, 1.25” and 1.5” and a pond volume of up to 18,000 gallons.
The BioTech ScreenMatic² 24000 has an outlet of 4”, a max flow of 3,300 GPH and dimensions of 31”L x 23”W x 25.5”H. It has hose sizes of 1”, 1.25” and 1.5” and a pond volume of up to 24,000 gallons.
The BioTech ScreenMatic² 38000 has an outlet of 4”, a max flow of 4,600 GPH and dimensions of 47”L x 31.5”W x 30”H. It has hose sizes of 1”, 1.25”, 1.5” and 2” and has a pond volume of up to 38,000 gallons.

All units have a manufacturers warranty of 3-years.

The BioTex 18000 is a multi-stage mechanical and biological filtration system in a compact package, designed for medium ponds or for ponds with moderate biological load (some fish).

During biological filtratino, the water is channeled through a series of filter foams that create a special environment by allowing the settling of beneficial bacteria. During this stage, harmful ammonia and nitrites are converted to nitrates, which support plant life in the pond. BioTec 10000 features a built-in cleaning mechanism that does not require removal of the filter foams during maintenance.

BioTec™ Screenmatic 38000 Pond Filter
For ponds up to 38,000 gallons.
With gold fish: 19,000 gallons. With Koi: 9,500 gallons.

The BioTec Screenmatic 38000 is a multi-stage mechanical and biological filtration system in a compact package, designed for larger ponds or for ponds with high biological load (many fish).

In the initial mechanical filtration stage, particles and debris are caught by a 300-micron mesh, which is cleaned automatically at regular intervals. Removal of coarse debris at this stage improves the efficiency of the biological filtration phase and significantly reduces maintenance frequency.

During biological filtration stage, the water is channeled through a series of filter foams that create a special environment by allowing the settling of beneficial bacteria. During this stage, harmful ammonia and nitrites are converted to nitrates, which support plant life in the pond. BioTec 38000 features a built-in cleaning mechanism that does not require removal of the filter foams during maintenance.

In a final stage, dissolved phosphate is removed with OASE Phosless cartridges. These cartridges bind phosphate which promote algae growth and remove it from circulation. Phosless cartridges are consumables and need to replaced from time to time.
 

The specially designed SCREENMATIC SIEVE retains all debris particles above 300 microns, the then lightly polluted water flows through special matting where it is enriched with oxygen.
The water then flows through different grades of filter foams where mechanical and biological cleaning takes place.
