Model: CSEAL15 - 74205
Atlantic's polypropylene bulkhead fittings install in flexible and rigid reservoir walls to create secure plumbing connections with standard Schedule 40 PVC fittings. Reverse threaded bulkhead fittings tighten as standard fittings are screwed into them. Cord Seal Fitting with expanding rubber core fits insdie 1.5" socket fittings to create a leak-proof seal around 0.125"-0.375" cords. Cord Seal Fitting is used to pass pump and lighting cords in underwater bulkhead or conduit connections through reservoir walls. The CSEAL15 (1.5" spigot) has dimensions of 1.875"W x 1.375"H and has a hole size of 1.5" for a Sch 40 socket fitting.
Assembling the Cord Seal Fitting around cord
The Cord Seal Fitting works with cords from 1/8” to 3/8” diameter. Begin by loosening the four stainless steel screws of the CSF to disassemble the fitting. Slip the rubber core over the cord, then loosely reassemble the fitting making sure the splits in the top and bottom plates are NOT aligned, but perpendicular to each other. Loosely install the four screws to hold all components together until installation is complete.
Through the Wall - Single Cord Seal Fitting
The Cord Seal Fitting is designed to be used in any standard 1½” Sch40 PVC socket. A 1½” Male Thread x Slip Adapter is included to adapt to any 1½” FIPT fitting. If adapter is to be used, install it first, using thread sealant. Pass the cord through the adapter and insert the CSF into the 1½” socket. Alternate tightening opposite screws to snug the rubber core around the cord and into the socket.

Through The Plumbing - Double Cord Seal Fitting Installation
When a single active water line is the only inlet or outlet of a tank or basin, two Cord Seal Fittings will allow the cord to share the water line that passes through the wall of the basin. This is common when there is only one perforation in the reservoir wall, for the line from the pump up to a spillway or other return. With the basin drained, install one tee in the line on one side of the basin wall and another tee on the other side. Run the cord through one tee and out the other. Assemble two Cord Seal Fittings into each of the tees as described above.
