The Morning Glory™ Stainless Steel Fountain Nozzle - also called Trumpet™ or Flat Lava™ nozzle produces a spray pattern similar to the Bell nozzle but rises gently in a delicate arc and then drops in a droplets creating a large circular spray pattern with nice sound. It creates a V-shaped upward spray that is a thin film-like water sheen breaks up into delicate droplets as it falls delicately to the pond. It leaves a more distinct sound and is ideal for formal lily ponds or any backyard pond. Can also be used in formal commercial basins.

Nozzle is female thread.

The overall diameter of your Flat Lava spray pattern a will depend on the pump flow and the size of the nozzle chosen. The Flat Lava nozzle is usually attached to hose or pipe right at water level . Ensure that the hose or PVC tubing that connects your pump to the nozzle is a sufficient diameter. Always try to use a pipe with the same diameter as the nozzle to minimize loss of flow from pipe friction.
