Aquascape rigid filter mats provide efficient mechanical and biological filtration for your pond. The filter mat can be easily cut to your desired size and shape for installation in a wide variety of skimmer boxes and filters. Its tremendous amount of surface area, makes it an ideal biological media. It can be easily cut to any shape to fit any filter.

Aquascape Rigid Filter Mats are available in tree different densities for various types of filtration.

All mats are 24" x 39" x 1.5" thick

• Black: Very coarse, open weave — good for high flow applications
• Green: Coarse, semi-open weave — allows good flow yet filters well
• Blue: Medium, fairly dense weave — traps a lot of debris, medium flow
   

For best results mix layers using a coarse layer first for large solids removal followed by denser layers for fine debris. Due to its unique material design, these filter mats are more rigid than traditional polyester media. This makes it easier to clean but does not allow it to be rolled up like other media.
