They are pre-filled with a protective silicone grease to prevent wire corrosion and moisture intrusion in harsh or buried outdoor environments.

Three Sizes Available

WC1 - Black/White : This is the standard small-to-medium residential landscape connector. It handles wire sizes from #22 up to #12 AWG. It is most frequently used to connect a light fixture's small lead wire to a standard 12-gauge or 14-gauge home run cable.

WC3 - Black/Gray : This is a more heavy-duty option compared to the Black/White PT-WC1. It features a larger housing that can accommodate wires as thick as #8 AWG. Choose the Black/Gray PT-WC3 when you are splicing thick low-voltage main run lines or multi-wire commercial valve bundles that would easily overflow smaller wire nuts.

WC4 - Black/Blue : This is the extra large connector rated for #22 to #6 AWG, this model is most commonly used in large-scale commercial irrigation hubs or heavy-duty landscape lighting main runs where multiple thick main-line feeder cables converge. It is also great for outdoor electrical splices exposed to condensation, water vapors, or dust.
